I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
